Exercise rehabilitation is suited for people with back pain, sports injuries and people who have maybe completed Chiropractic treatment and need to return to their work or sporting environment.
Tom first uses an advanced Health screening tool via Questionnaires to discover what may be driving the client’s pain and postural distortions. This also produces a comprehensive overview of the clients’ health history and current problems which give direction during the physical assessment. Tom then uses postural assessments, flexibility tests, movement analysis and core function assessments to understand what is happening to his clients on a physical level.
After an assessment a corrective stretching and exercise program is delivered in two stages. First the stretching and mobilization program is taught and a follow up session focusing of strengthening exercises to aid the learning process. Many exercises are designed to improve posture, increase strength, improve core stability and activities of daily living. The program will be devised based on time commitments, facilities available and skill set.
